  • Abstract
Presents a novel method for the extraction of parameters required to produce natural sounding speech. It has been shown to work for both French and English. The method adopted follows resonances within speech, rather than formants, furthermore resonances are allowed to cross under certain conditions. These parameters are then fed into a neural network based concatenation system allowing for the reproduction of speech
