Abstract :
A transmission line code has been used to model the pulsed power accelerator PIM. The model has been benchmarked against various experimental diagnostics and agreement appears to be comfortably within 10% for the majority of the pulse. The model was then used to predict the implications modifications to components of PIM on the output voltage, and consequently Brestrahluung X-ray dose from an electron beam diode.
