Abstract :
Based on crosscorrelation of two elements on a uniform circular arrays and least squares, simple and accurate 2-D direction of arrivals estimator was proposed in the presence of multiplicative and additive noise. We analyzed the statistics performance of the estimator and gave the selection criterion of the optimal parameters. The Cramer-Rao bound (CRB) was derived. The results of numerical simulation shows the performance of the estimator is close to the CRB
