IT risk management to support the realization of IT value in public organizations

The role of information technology (IT) within an organization is essential. Almost all of areas in the organization require IT support in their daily activities. In public organizations IT has been utilized to support their activities in accordance to create public value. The implementation of IT in an organization is not easy, it is always shadowed by risks that can interfere the IT value realization in organization. These risks have to be identified, analyzed and maintained properly, so that the negative impact can be reduced into an acceptable level. This research will study about IT risk management to support the realization of IT value in public organizations.
