Abstract :
This paper presents a digitally programmable MOST-only variable gain amplifier (VGA) built around a high-performance fully-differential operational amplifier with gain enhancement. Digital controllability is based on an inherent linear MOST-only current division technique. The system, built in 0.8 μm CMOS technology and supplied at 3.3 V, achieves gains between -34 dB and 54 dB with linearity better than -80 dB
