            Abstract :
Prosperity analysis in electric power consumption market is of great significance, as it can not only provide essential information in electric power planning, construction, etc, but also help to avoid the risk of project investment and other risks. The paper studies the computation of prosperity indicators by focusing on the filtering methods. It compares different methods of filtering indicators and assumes that cross correlation analysis is the best method in the analysis of the prosperity of electric power consumption market. After applying it in the analysis of the electric power consumption market of Hubei Province in 2006, the paper concludes that cross correlation analysis method turns out to be really very applicable to electric power consumption market which is embodied with the characteristics of having a variety of indicators and heavy load of calculation work.
