Abstract :
The paper gives a brief description of the work done on a radar sensor for autonomous intelligent cruise control, AICC, by CelsiusTech Electronics. It describes the design goals, gives a very short presentation of the radar (77 GHz FMCW radar) implementation and then focuses on results from trials. The results presented from trials are concentrated on the direction accuracy which is the critical parameter for the automatic AICC system. It also gives a glimpse of what the output from the final algorithms will be
