Abstract :
Proposed IEEE Standard 3001-5-D1 is a preferred practice for the application of electrical apparatus in industrial and commercial facilities and includes references to ANSI/IEEE practices. This paper will focus on the information contained in this new recommended practice, identifying the rating information and other practical information that the reader may find useful.
