Abstract
In this paper, the asymptotic eigenvalue distribution of the correlation matrix in a random spreading symbol-asynchronous but chip-synchronous CDMA system is studied. It is shown that, the asymptotic eigenvalue moments in a chip-synchronous system are equal to those of a symbol-synchronous system when the observation window is wider than a threshold.
