Abstract :
Mechanical systems with nonlinear potential forces and delayed feedback are studied. An approach for the constructing of nonlinear controllers providing the delay-independent asymptotic stability of the trivial equilibrium positions is proposed. The results of a computer simulation in MATLAB are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach.
