Abstract :
The disturbance picked up by error sensors can significantly degrade the steady-state performance of active noise control (ANC) systems for practical applications. This paper presents a cascading adaptive algorithm for removing uncorrelated disturbance and analyzes its performance in narrowband ANC systems. Theoretical analysis shows that the proposed algorithm improves the behavior of adaptive filter in steady state. Computer simulations using the measured transfer functions validate its performance
