Abstract
This paper presents a software-defined waveform generation platform, the Universal Receiver Tester (URTTTM), used to test broadcast receivers. A single hardware platform is used to test multiple radio and video standards, by way of reconfigurable software. The architecture of the platform is detailed, along with some supported standards. Some performance metrics used for evaluation of the waveform generation process are also presented.
