Abstract
The space-time block coding scheme combined with multicarrier transmission has been widly used in communication and broadcasting system. To increase the multiplexing and diversity gain of a conventional STBC-OFDM system, we introduce the new transmission scheme which is a combinational method of the double STBC-OFDM and the coordinate interleaving technique. In this paper, the proposed coordinate interleaved double STBC-OFDM (CID-STBC-OFDM) scheme has been analyzed and simulated. Our result shows the proposed method outperform the conventional scheme in mobile channel environment.
