Abstract :
This paper proposes a new type of control strategy using optimal-variable-aim excitation control strategy for improvement of power system dynamic stability. When a generator transformer´s bus voltage drops caused by serious disturbance and voltage stability is in danger, this control strategy can help to lift the system´s voltage level and improve system voltage stability. The analysis and simulation results with a one machine-infinite bus system are presented in this paper
