Abstract
An improved joint time frequency approach has been applied and evaluated for shadow image of bistatic forward scattering radar (BFSC). It is shown that the improved joint time frequency algorithm provides an effective and robust method to eliminate ground clutter and direct signal for shadow imaging of BFSC, which are the key factors to affect the quality of image. Compared with the method applied by paper Zhang Tao, et al., (2001), this method improves the image quality and robust ability
