Abstract :
With its characteristics of fast, portable and friendly interaction interface, Mobile GIS for spatial data collection has become an important development trend of GIS as well as a major method for GIS data collection. However, it is not difficult to find that not only the online but also the off-line Mobile GIS data collection must collaborate with the desktop environment. For the different performance between mobile terminal and the computers ,the instability of the environment for Mobile GIS delivering data and the synergy of different collecting terminals, The application of data collecting in Mobile GIS should be addressed dealing with the data synchronization with the computer. In this paper, we proposed a data collaborative mechanism oriented to the collection and application of Mobile GIS, constructed a spatial data distribution and gathering strategy based on map sheet as the organizational unit and an attribute data distribution and gathering strategy based on embedded relational database, designed the preservation and rollback methods for historical data of different versions. Finally, we develop a related data cooperative application as a concrete example, and validated the feasibility of data cooperative environment proposed in this paper.
