Abstract
Recent wireless standards are based on the DCA (dynamic channel allocation) mechanism joined to the TDMA access method. This scheme can produce transmitters able to synthesize every frequency in the guard period between consecutive time slots. This characteristic and the need for an efficient modulation characteristic make it difficult to merge both modulation and channelization in the same single loop synthesizer structure because the modulation bandwidth is close to the interchannel switching ratio. The present paper shows an architecture that obtains joint modulation and channelization with a single loop synthesizer using a quadratic correlation loop. Analytical and simulation results are presented
