Abstract :
Aiming at the big residue error and the slow convergence rate of the Constant Modulus blind equalization Algorithm(CMA), a new orthogonal Wavelet Transform based Sign Decision Dual-Mode blind equalization Algorithm(WT-SDDMA) is proposed. The proposed algorithm unit the WT-CMA and the WT-MMA and switch between WT-CMA and WT-MMA by the method of sign decision. Simulation tests with underwater acoustic channel have indicated that the convergence rate of WT-SDDMA is superior to the CMA¿WT-CMA and WT-MMA, the residue MSE of that is smaller compared with the CMA and WT-CMA. Furthermore, the adaptive equalization principle block diagram based on orthogonal Wavelet is given.
