Abstract
The Digital European Cordless Telecommunications system has been proposed to support applications such a wireless local area networks and cordless video. In order to transport high bit rate data, multiple time slots or multibearer connections are required. The performance of these connections are simulated with ARQ error control for link reliability in the dispersive indoor radio channel. For multibearer connections, the performance was found to degrade as the number of multibearers increased. To increase the performance of muitibearer connections, quality driven antenna diversity is also investigated
