Abstract :
A new method of transverse output error compensation based on piezoelectric vibration acceleration sensor which sensitive element consists of cymbal transducer was studied. The reasons for piezoelectric accelerometers have transverse output were simply recommended. Improved the structure of the vibration accelerometer, and established the model of accelerometer´s transverse output. Tested the output value before the accelerometer compensation in the condition of different transverse interference, reduced the impact of the sensor´s transverse output using the method of the two sensors´ combination, and then calculated the out value of the accelerometer after compensation. The experimental results show that: the error compensation model is effective and the method can effectively reduce the impact of transverse force, and the relative error can achieve accuracy of less than 1% in the condition of the angle ¿ which is far less than angle at the zero sensitivity point.
