Abstract :
The digital estimators with fading memory have been designed for prediction applications. The suggested design method is based on optimal filtering theory for non-stationary process with random noise. This method can be used for design of digital filters, digital differentiators and digital predictors for applications to trajectory estimation of flying airplanes and sailing ships. Therefore, it can be used in air traffic control or marine traffic management data processing systems
