Abstract
A coherent model for simulating interaction of electromagnetic waves with forests in a bistatic configuration has been developed. It allows simulation of interferometric and fully polarimetric data. Forests considered include finite size ones. We focus here on border effects. Some simulations of imaging in L band are shown. Border effects are illustrated in monostatic and bistatic geometry
