Abstract
The phenomenon of stochastic resonance (SR) in symmetric bistable nonlinear system is analyzed. The conditions which make the system to resonance are given and validated. In order to resolve the problem of improving the SNR while using airborne early warning (AEW) radar to detect slow speed target on the ground, an improved adaptive stochastic resonance system is proposed. The validity and feasibility of the system is proved by simulation experience
