Abstract :
To analyse an influence of intensity-dependent nonlinearity in analyte on surface plasmon (SP) excitation in Kretschman structure relevant wavelength-scale numerical modelling is performed by the method of single expression. At the fixed amplitude of intense incident wave a hysteresis in the reflectance is obtained revealing corresponding direction of angular interrogation depending on the sign of nonlinearity.
