Abstract
This communication presents a model for the average received power in an outdoor environment in the millimetre waveband, similar to those used in the UHF band based on the average slope of the power decay with distance. Additional terms are included to account for the oxygen absorption and the rain attenuation. The model is intended for the specific band of MBS services [60, 66] GHz
