Abstract :
Applying energy-shaping control principle and the state error port-controlled Hamiltonian (PCH) system, output voltage tracking control and unity power factor regulation of three-phase Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) rectifiers are presented in this paper. A desired state error PCH system structure is assigned to closed-loop control system for the three-phase PWM rectifiers. The desired Hamiltonian function is given based on the energy-shaping theory. The controller is designed through interconnection and damping assignment method. Moreover, a proportional integral (PI) regulation is used to eliminate the steady-state error of the output dc voltage. The simulation results show that the proposed control method has good output voltage tracking control and unity power factor regulation performances.
