Abstract
In this paper, we present a practical stability study for a class of switching systems with uncertain parameters. The underlying control problem is to direct the system towards a desired set-point state and to maintain the system within a known neighborhood of this state. A limited lookahead control policy is proposed for this problem. In earlier work we formulated the stability of the limited lookahead control policy as a joint containability and attraction problem and proposed a solution based on nonlinear programming. This paper extends our earlier work to handle a larger domain of practical systems with uncertain parameters
