Abstract
Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.
The presenting author of this paper has the option to appeal this decision by contacting TPII@ieee.org.
To improve the shift quality of dual clutch transmission (DCT), the dynamic model of DCT with respect to one shift process was built. And the evaluation of shift quality was analyzed. With the aim to minimize the tradeoff coefficient of shift quality considering both jerk and sliding friction work, a global optimization method based on genetic algorithm was presented. The parameters of filling or discharging oil for two clutches were calculated accurately. The results show that the genetic algorithm can be applied to the optimization for DCT shift process control and the shift quality is improved effectively. Compared with the cross-validation method, the tradeoff coefficient of shift quality is reduced by more than 8%.
