Abstract
In this paper, physical effects in a Bragg resonator formed by nonperiodic Bragg reflector and nonlinear film situated on metal plane are theoretically considered. If the Bragg structure has high reflectivity on frequency of the second harmonic, second harmonic generation does not occur on film with quadratic nonlinearity, but the transformation of energy of the falling wave into energy of the third harmonic can be achieved. The obtained results are useful for designing generator, transformer and digital devices.
