Abstract
This paper investigates the analytical calculation and experimental verifications for the inductance profile of a tubular transverse flux machine, which employs generic laminated armature cores for rotary machinery. It is shown that the predicted inductance results agree well with those from finite-element computations and from measurements, which has verified the validity of the analytical prediction method.
