Abstract :
The localizer provides lateral steering signals to the landing aircraft. The reliability of navigational information provided by the localizer antenna system is governed by its radiation characteristics. The authors present an analysis of the radiation pattern of a localizer array that deploys a corner reflector. The uniform geometrical theory of diffraction (UGTD) is employed for the analysis
