Abstract :
We developed a 64-channel 50 GHz-spaced cascaded arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) multi/demultiplexer module, and demonstrated that it effectively reduces crosstalk to -82 dB while achieving a low insertion loss of 3.3 dB and a compact module size of 133×43 mm2, which is suitable for practical use.
