  • Abstract
    The TI Aladdin processor was designed with software support in mind. Also, TI is providing a software development toolset and run-time environment to support application development targeted to the Aladdin processor. The toolset supports both Ada application code development and microcode development. The operating system supports real-time Ada application code execution, an Ada to VCP (vector co-processor) interface, real-time intermodule communication and synchronization, and built-in test. System simulation support, based on the ADAS (Architecture Design and Assessment System) toolset, is being used to aid in partitioning/mapping applications onto the Aladdin processor
