Abstract
This paper is to present a case study about learning different subjects, such as Chinese philosophy, geography, biology, and mathematics, through a very popular video game called Pokemon. In the game many elements are integrated into one game play, which could be introduced in senior years of elementary school or freshman year of junior high school if they are properly arranged according to grade 1-9 curriculum guidelines in Taiwan. An outline of course arrangement for mathematics is proposed based on the objectives of the guidelines and the content of the game.
