Abstract :
In this paper we propose quite a new structure of optical switch based on torsion MEMS mirror which deflects incoming light beam into a system of two parallel mirrors that form a waveguide. If there is a hole on any of these mirrors at a proper place the beam will left the system and enter an output optical fiber. Combining the deflection angle at MEMS mirror and positions of holes we can get a commutating system that switches light from incoming fiber toward several outgoing ones.
