Abstract :
Because of body figure´s variety and complexity, it is difficult for people to find the fittest apparel which looks like made-to-measure (MTM). Special body shapes are often determined by persons subjectively, greatly depend on their experience. This paper presents a special body shapes recognition program based on fuzzy expert system, describes the basic features of common special body shapes. In the process of determination, this paper uses the fuzzy method of extracting characteristic parameters, quantifying the special physical characteristics with the combination of expertise to compute the membership function of the sample for a variety of special body shapes, and determine whether the sample belongs to special body shapes with logical discriminant. In the MTM, special bodies can be rapidly identified by the comprehensive and detailed data that obtained by three-dimensional scanning device and the known basic features of a variety kinds of special body shapes.
