  • Abstract
    This paper starts from the background subtraction algorithm, focusing on discussing Gaussian mixture model for background subtraction algorithm. Gaussian mixture model for background subtraction method, under the conditions of ordinary PC computing power, the speed is still slow for the real-time system. Order to solve the problem of detecting speed, an improved target detection algorithm-adaptive fast Gaussian background subtraction algorithm comes into being. The speed of this algorithm compared to the classic Gaussian mixture background subtraction algorithm is faster, with better performing in real-time system, higher detection rate, lower false detection rate, better inhibition ability of noise.
