Abstract
Wireless sensor or mesh networks consist of a number of autonomous nodes that are able to communicate within a limited range. The design and setup of such a network requires various issues to be resolved. In order to send a message to a destination which is not within reach of a given node, the message has to be relayed by intermediate nodes. This article details the design, implementation, and test of such a network for applications whose requirements exceed those of traditional WSNs.
