Abstract :
In this paper, water-cooling induction motor for mini electric vehicle is taken as an example and the relationships among the structural parameters of cooling system, the cooling area, the convective heat transfer coefficient and the fluid flow resistance are derived. A coupled mathematics solving model of fluid fields and temperature fields of water-cooling motor is constructed and the impact of jacket number on the motor´s inner temperature and the fluid flow resistance is studied. Based on the result of theoretical analysis and simulation, an optimization design scheme for cooling system of water-cooling motor is proposed, which provides a reference for designning of cooling system in middle-scale and small-scale water-cooling motor.
