  • Abstract
    Modular matrix converter has the advantages of a wide controllable area of input and output voltages, multilevel operation and modular structure. A novel space vector modulation for a modular matrix converter is proposed to decoupling input side and output side. Moreover, a capacitor voltage balancing control is also employed based on the different phase voltage state of the novel space vector modulation. Performance of the proposed strategy for basic modular matrix converter is evaluated in the MATLAB/Simulink environment.
