Abstract :
A pair of polarity-reversed doublet pulses is generated based on a Mach-Zehnder modulator (MZM) and two cascaded semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs). The UWB polarity is controlled by adjusting the bias voltage of Mach-Zehnder modulator (MZM).
