Abstract :
We proposed a method to realize 50Gbps Direct-Detection Optical Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (DDO-OFDM) after 80km SSMF transmission without dispersion compensating fiber based on selective subcarrier-filling, using a cost-effective electro-absorption Modulator.
