Abstract :
Wavelength-agile hybrid WDM-TDM passive optical networks (PON) architecture, dual-mode ONT which enables user roaming between EPON and GPON, integration of PON, PON health monitoring (PHM) and home health monitoring (HHM), all these issues relate to design and applications of next generation PON are discussed.
