  • Abstract
Globalisation, business process outsourcing and ever increasing regulatory environments are forcing the large enterprises to transform the way they provide their business and services. Businesses are required to be more agile and flexible, and IT managers are being asked to deliver improved functionality while leveraging existing IT investment. Service-oriented Architectures (SOA) has a major impact on the development of software systems because of its potential for increased business agility, adaptability of applications, integration and interoperability between systems, and reuse of legacy assets. This paper will briefly introduce SOA and analyzes integration of enterprise application based on SOA through a case of marine emergency auxiliary command system.
