Abstract :
A new electron accelerator machine has been proposed for radiographic applications and a design has been completed. It consists in the assembly of a laser driven photo-injector and a superconducting RF linear accelerator which offers many advantages in order to produce multi-macropulse electron beams. We describe the photo-injector subsystem under construction. Laser, high voltage driver, electron gun, photocathodes fabrication and beam dynamics aspects will beam covered.
