Abstract
In view of the limitations in current researches on traffic grooming for WDM optical networks, a new traffic grooming scheme which supports multi-priority service quality - TDGS is proposed. The scheme combines the preemption and traffic-partition, which can select the suitable traffic grooming path according to the requirements of the traffic flow QoS. Simulation results show the proposed scheme can effectively reduce the blocking probability of the time-delay-constraint the high priority connection requests.
