Abstract :
Summary form only given. The introduction of ISDN (integrated-services digital network) offers substantial opportunities to improve existing operations and creates new applications within today´s business market. An important characteristic of ISDN is the ability to realize many of these opportunities immediately, prior to the global availability of ISDN. Examples of how, in 1988, ISDN services within the United States are used in business applications, and the resulting benefits are discussed.<>
