Abstract :
In this paper, we suggest a multiwavelength PON (MW PON) as an efficient alternative and demonstrate that it can quite outperform the WDM/TDM PON by utilizing its ability to cross the PON boundaries while achieving the similar or better level of cost-effectiveness.
