Abstract
We demonstrate dense SS-WDM uplink over legacy PONs using a novel self-seeded RSOA transmitter and a balanced receiver that preserves noise cleaning. 32 colorless ONUs can be supported at 1.25 Gb/s without DCF and FEC.
