Abstract :
The vastness of ocean decides ocean observation data is spatially distributed and temporally continuous. As the ocean-observing means becomes much diverser, mass ocean observation data is accumulated. These data are heterogeneous and distributive, so the utilization of ocean observation data occurs many difficulties Focusing on heterogeneous and geographical distribution of ocean observation data, this paper proposes a data interoperation mechanism, explores relative technologies, like Marine Information Metadata, Global Resource Directory Service and Spatial Information Service and establishes an interoperation mode. Under the Service-Oriented Architecture, using the technology of Web Service, following the OGC standards, multi-source heterogeneous ocean observation data interoperation framework is established to enhance the sharing degree and utilization of marine information.
